The library does not have print copies or electronic access for the following journals after 2007.
We apologize for this inconvenience.
Students, staff and faculty can request articles we don’t own or have access to via Interlibrary Services
http://www.lib.utexas.edu/services/ils/
We will post an update once access as been restored.
Thank you.

AUSTIN, Texas–Dr. Gregory L. Fenves, international expert in structural engineering and former chair of the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of California, Berkeley, has been appointed dean of the Cockrell School of Engineering at The University of Texas at Austin.
Fenves’ appointment, which follows an international search, is effective Sept. 1. Fenves, 51, replaces Dr. Ben Streetman, who during his time as dean tripled the number of students receiving privately funded scholarships and fellowships, and added 18 privately funded faculty chairs to supplement state-funded faculty salaries. Streetman will take a one-year sabbatical, after having served 12 years as the Cockrell School dean.

Access to MyiLibrary is now available from the Databases and Indexes to Articles menu of the library website.
MyiLibrary is a platform that provides access to ebooks. At this point, we have only licensed titles from Oxford University Press although this is likely to expand in the future. The ebooks are formatted at Adobe Acrobat PDF files and can be used by multiple users at the same time. Printing and saving are supported to the extent allowed by the publisher.
A more complete description of what is offered in our subscription is available on the MyiLibrary About:

Printing from your laptop is now possible at any of the UT Libraries. Please visit http://www.lib.utexas.edu/services/computing/ and install the appropriate client.
Once the client is installed a printer named “library_printers” will appear, choose that printer and name your print job. Once you’ve sent a print job it goes to the printers in all of the University libraries and remains in the printer queue for two hours. You may send a job from anywhere on campus while using the “restricted.utexas.edu” wireless connection and choose the most convenient library to retrieve your job.
Paying for printing with Bevo Bucks is now an option at PCL.

InterLibrary Services (ILS) and Circulation Services have implemented a new service to scan and deliver articles electronically from journals held in the Library Storage Facility (LSF).
Users may request an article in LSF be delivered electronically by submitting a request form on the ILS website.
The service is available to currently enrolled students, faculty and emeritus faculty, staff and staff retirees, official UT visitors with library guest entitlements, and currently enrolled distance learners.
Detailed information about the service is available on the ILS website: http://www.lib.utexas.edu/services/ils/electronic.html
